Are expensive sway bar links worth it?

I haven't replaced tons or seen 100's of thousands of miles on replaced end links so my opinion is mostly anecdotal.

I would get Subaru OEM or Beck Arnley

I hate the Moog ones with greaseable joints that you have to thread in place yourself, and cheap boots that just lay on the metal rather than being fixed. You can literally lift the boot up with a finger and look inside the joint. I get that you can grease it, and that should push out any debris and prevent entrance, but no way that's more robust than the OEM units IMO. And I don't know that the MOOG's will be like that for your year/make/model, but i've installed MOOG's on Subaru's that were like that and there's no reason to deviate from OEM so I'd go OEM or Beck Arnley, or personally avoid those non-fixed boots whatever brands may use them.
