We got a viper system installed (didn't realizing they were going cheap and not doing the security system as well, it's part of the unit just some extra wiring) and love it.

However, I've used other autostarts in the past where if you want to run in somewhere for a few minutes and leave the car running, you hit start on the remote, remove the key and then it's business as usual. This thing won't release the key if you hit the start button with the key already in it. Anyone else experience this/think it's strange?
