The battery on my 2017 3.6 failed. I knew it was going for the last month. The car is 2.5 years old. Is that covered under warranty 3/36? My understanding after reading some warranty info is that it’s covered but it was a bit vauge. Thanks.

It should be, but honestly I'd just replace it with a better battery than the OEM one.

The dealer in Reno Nevada replaced my free and said I would have a new 30K warranty. If its free go for it ranther than pay$120 for a new battery. The dealer in Reno said they put ina diffent brand. I paid nothing for it.

I know I could do better but for free I’ll make the warranty claim. It gave me plenty of warning it was failing. At the first sign of failure I change batteries in all my vehicles. This is first vehicle I’ve owned that the original failed before MFG warranty. Based on everything I read before purchasing the car I knew it was a possibility.
