2013 Outback 2.5i

Ran over some road debris at about 40 mph. Not sure what it was, possibly a mounted tire and wheel (based on a burned rubber smell and a metallic clunk sound as it passed under the car) :frown2:.
It bent the front cross member of the cradle to the point of almost touching the exhaust shield and warping the front engine mount so it is twisted. It also wiped out the plastic air dam. No other obvious damage. The car does run OK but is noisier.

Anyone had similar experience and estimate of the cost to repair?

the cradle and the side rails it mounts too are all new subaru parts that are sold. maybe some smashed exhaust. hopefully nothing more .

probably have to pull the engine. and align it when done. but nothing that a autobody shop or regular shop could not do.

definitely worth putting in a insurance claim on. (not cheap work, but hopefully not a total either).
