The rear camera that was installed in my 2014 2.5i Premium is on the fritz. It works only half the time. I think maybe the mirror is not getting power. Does anyone have any ideas on the best way of troubleshooting? How does one get through the headliner to expose the wires?

Any pictures would be very helpful.

The mirror??? Not sure what that has to do with the camera unless it not OEMs.

You can get at the connector by removing the overhead trim- that's the eyesight hood in eyesight cars, and the map lights if not.

The usual problem is water intrusion at the camera itself. They just don't last long.
