So my 2005 xt just blew up and i want to put in a new jdm in it. Does anyone know what if anything i would need to switch over besides the intake manifold/ exhaust manifold/ turbo. Is any of the wiring differnet or cam shaft/ crank shaft??

JDM 2.0 or 2.5?

Not my strong suit. But, the distinction will help when others chime in.

Search some YouTube videos. There are some really good comparisons between the two engines. I considered going that route also, but decided to go with a junkyard engine. Not sure mine was the best choice as I'm having to work through some engine issues. Good luck and keep us updated.

If it helps, I only had to change the intake. Not a single wire was different. JDM engine will have engine plug intact, just plugged it in. I have the 3.0 however. I don't see why your 2.5 will matter assuming you pick the proper 2.5.
