I just bought a '12 OB Premium and the B/T mike doesn't work right on my end. I can hear people I call just fine; they can barely hear me at best, if at all. If anyone knows of a good logical solution, pls. let me know. Thnx
A few people have had issues with their mics. All but one that I can remember was able to go to the dealer and get the issue fixed. Some of them needed the mic replaced.
Do you by chance rest your knee on the left of the center console? I do this and it obstructs the mic. If you do that try moving your knee! Sounds goofy, but it helps on our 2013 and im assuming they did not change it from 12 to 13

I realize this is an old thread but I'm frustrated with the poor voice quality on calls from my '12 Outback. Listening to these calls reveals wind noise, fan noise (a/c), and more; it's so bad as to render it nearly useless. I brought it up on a routine service visit at the dealer today and it was proclaimed "normal". Right. Anyone else out there ?
I have a similar problem, but to be honest no one could hear me very well in my '07 Infiniti FX35 . So maybe it is a problem with all "in car" bluetooth mics?
However if your like my wife the fix is easy. Close the windows, turn the full blast fan down before you make a call. LOL yes I have no idea why she does that.
