I have a 2013 Canadian-spec Outback with the 'Type A' radio. This has got to be one of the most poorly-designed handsfree systems in history. For some bizarre reason Subaru decided that it was unsafe to perform a speed dial (by pressing a radio preset button) while the car is in motion (you get a 'Sorry, this function is not available...' error).
I'm wondering if this behaviour can be circumvented by disabling the speed sensor signal to the radio. Anyone know if this is case?
