Blech.

If I wanted a BMW, it wouldn't be that.

If I wanted a practical every day car to replace my Outback, it also wouldn't be that.

So its a fail for me.

I would have to agree with SE95. Didn't Range Rover do something like this... Freelander or something? Wonder how that worked out.

It's not a bad little runabout but the fact that the RWD version is leaps and bounds better than the AWD verson I don't think it's a good alternative to the OB. I'd also much rather have a 3 series.

A buddy of mine has a very lightly modded turbocharged 3 Series, I think its a 2010. I've driven it, it was a blast, but I think I am personally more partial to the M6.
