My 2003 subaru outback developed a brake fluid leak that is found to be coming from a 2 foot 1/2 inch plastic pipe that goes from the right wheel toward the front of the gasof your help tank. I am confused as to what it does and how it works . the dealship doesent know. Thanks for all of your help

???? Which wheel?

could a prevoius owner have added a snorkel to the transmission and you are finding transmission fluid?

A 2 foot long, 1/2" diameter (outer diameter, I assume) pipe from the Right Rear wheel towards the front of the gas tank?

The only thing I can think of that sort of meets that description is the parking brake cable, but there's no fluid running through that. It could be dripping down from above, and then dripping off the cable...

Can you post a picture or 2 of it?
