Just looking for pads all around, preferably online. Everything I find in 2004 subaru impreza is listed as 06+ for outback sports but earlier years for other impreza models? Will these work here or can anyone link me to the correct parts? Many thanks.

your car should be under the year 04, and Impreza.

OEM pads from a dealer would be fine - good stuff, just a little pricey. You could also order stock replacements from an on-line dealer like subarugenuineparts.com or maybe Fred Beans. (there are others.) Even Amazon is a possibility. (but their fitment chart seems dicey at times)

go to rockauto.com and drill down to brake pads;

then scroll down to daily driver and select the Centric Posi-quiet Ceramic front and rear.

OR, scroll farther to high performance and select Centric/ Stoptech Street Performance for a really good value in a pad for 'spirited' driving.

if it still seems confusing what you need, email KNS Brakes - those guys know subie brakes.

how many miles on the car? Wondering if you need new rotors (centric would be a good choice there too.). And a brake fluid flush might be in order if it's been a long time since it was done.

It's also generally a good idea to include your car's VIN number on many parts. Probably not necessary for brake pads, but it can't hurt.
