Hey y'all.
I just had some work done on my 2000 legacy outback and when earlier today i realized the plastic latch that holds the trunk bar has broken, i assume during its time in the shop. I've attached a pic of what it looks like, theres enough for the bar to rest on but not enough to stop it from falling off. Should i just duct tape the bar down for the time being? I'd appreciate if someone could point me where to order a replacement, im assuming this is something i should be able to fix myself.

My first thought would be to hit a junk yard ... they would probably give you the piece for free if you're allowed to roam the place like we can locally ...

Grab your VIN and call up your local dealership. They're available, and they're cheap.
