I have a 2005 Outback XT, with the 5spd AT. For the last few months I keep smelling burning oil after driving. I don't see any leaks and don't really see that it is eating up that much oil. Any ideas?

possibly a split CV boot (usually the inner one) splattering grease on the exhaust.

It's also very common that the oil supply line to the turbo leaks. It drips right on the exhaust, so you never see it.

Check out legacygt.com for more specific info on this problem. Very common. Often the fix is just putting on a hose clamp to replace the spring clamp, but people also replace the whole hose.
