Hey guys,

Complete newbie here, just got my first Subie, an 07 manual OB. Got it from a reputable used Subaru dealer with ~170k. Drove fine at first, but now I will occasionally get a constant CEL with a P0340 camshaft position sensor code along with a cylinder 1 and cylinder 2 misfire.

I took it back to the place I bought it from and they supposedly replaced a bad camshaft sensor, but I continue to get the codes. It happens first thing in the morning when it's cold. It'll start up fine, then misfire less than 30 seconds later, then smooth out. Once the car is warmed up I never have any issues.

Any thoughts? Dealer suggested checking MAF and 02 sensors, but that doesn't seem likely to me.

Not an XT. Just a standard 2.5i. I should also say that the headgaskets, water pump and timing belts were all done before I bought the car.
