Sounds like the MAP sensor is the bigger issue anyway. I recall that they are easy to get at, dunno how pricey they are though.

Ouch! at those prices it's worth further testing to make sure yours is truly broken. At least you can test this one with a VOM & a hand vac.

No fun. I got a Mity from harbor freight for $40, maybe 2 years ago? Felt expensive but turned out to be decent quality.
