After installing a kill switch on the main relay, car is no longer detecting any of the open doors. I had to unplug /remove most of other modules and relays to get to the main relay. Is there a dedicated door sensing unit? If so, where is it? Thanks for any info.

Not sure what you mean. Are you referring to the "door open" warning diagram that is in the combination meter (instrument panel)?

When a door is opened, does the dome (ceiling light) come on? If not, is the switch set to the "door" position, and is the bulb good? (Check by putting the switch in the ON position.)

When the driver door is opened, does the "step" light (in the door, lower rear corner) come on?

(There's no sensing unit between the door switch and the ceiling and step lights.)
