Hi i have a 2006 subaru outback, manual transmission 2.5i n/a
Just yesterday night i wanted to start my car up from a cold start, it starts and then out of nowhere she stalled( keep in mind shes in neutral) so i try again and slowly release clutch but notice shes biting and wanting to stall at around 1500 rpm IN NEUTRAL... does anyone have ideas as to what can be the problem?... (no lights come up on dash either...)

Is it also 'biting' in all gears?
Will the car roll in neutral with the engine off, clutch pedal released?

Recently there were a couple of other posts about transmissions/shifter misbehaving. IIRC, one was cleared up by rocking the car by hand to unstick a gear.

Car will roll in neutral, no clicking or any weird noises
