My wife text me today that the OB ate her CD. I haven't had a chance to look at it yet, but does anyone have any tips or tricks to retrieve a CD if the eject button isn't doing anything?

The stereo won't switch to CD and doesn't appear to recognize the disc in the player.

Hoping someone might have a trick to eject a CD manually :29:

TIA for any help

NM,

The CD started playing when she got back into the car for the drive home. Hoping it was just a one time glitch.

It's a year old and only been used half a dozen times...

After hearing more details, she started to insert the CD and it didn't pull it in, so she kept pushing until it was all the way in  And then couldn't realize why it didn't recognize it..

I think it was more user error than anything. lol

She only buys CD's for her favorite band, Staind. And even then it's already on her iPhone. She just wanted to play her new CD. Hopefully I'll upgrade the stereo to something more iPhone friendly and we'll never use a CD again.

Thanks for the tip though :29:
