On my '98 2.5L, I drive the front end up on ramps, change the passenger side plugs from underneath, remove the windshield washer fluid reservoir and the small plug wire retaining clip, change the driver's side plugs from the top. It takes about three hours and plenty of patience, but it is doable.

I like my 3.0H6, but just did the plugs for my first time (once by dealer at 60k miles). Those 2 extra cylinders really make it a crappy job!
