Hi All,

I have a 2014 Outback base with the Clarion PF-33801-A head unit. I stopped short and a 2x4 slid into the radio, breaking 5 of the 6 preset buttons.

I removed the faceplate/control, turns out the actuators that are soldered onto the circuit board broke off.

My question is, can I buy a radio/faceplate on ebay and swap it on without any reprogramming? Or is the faceplate coded to the guts of the radio?

Thanks in advance.

Bump! Here is a pic of the head unit. This faceplate connects to the radio guts via some ribbon connectors. I'd like to swap a used faceplate on. Does anyone know if this is a direct swap or if I need to unlock/program/marry the two pieces?

Thanks
