I emailed magnetbra this morning. They assured me that it would fit the 2013 and since added year 2013 on the website. I'll be ordering that sucker soon!

Nice, please post pictures once you have it.
I guess I'll order one too but after next paycheck.

The holiday shopping season put a dent in my wallet.

I just had mine done and added a strip across the back where you put your hands to close the hatch.

This is the third vehicle I've had it done and think it's helpful getting the bugsmash off, especially helpful during lovebug season, and does help protect from impact chips and from scratches.

It's not cheap, but it does what they say it does and also offers some peace of mind.

My first two vehicles were done with 3M, but I let them talk me into a different brand for my Outback. We'll see how it holds up and if it resists yellowing better than the 3M supposedly does. I've not had any problems with 3M and was planning on getting it again, but was told others have had issues with it.

I had the dealer throw in the plexiglas hood protector so I skipped getting the hood done. Hindsight now, I should of had it done too. The bumper has no paint chips, but the hood does. I recommend it for highway driving.

I just realized that I owe you guys a picture, sorry about that...

Quick tip, use a hair dryer to soften the magnetbra during installation! And it's a little over-cut (you'll see, it curls under the hood and locks on with the piping) so it should work with the slightly different 13 hood.

Here are some photos of my MagnetBra, sorry for the delay!

Here is what my 2008 Prius with 110,000 miles looks like with the 3M film. The picture with the quarter is the only flaw on the hood. A chunk of something flew out of a pick-up truck bed ahead of me on the freeway. Gouged the film and put a couple of dings in the hood. Nothing could have protected my paint from that. The trick to no yellowing: Use Turtle Wax Ice clear liquid wax (per advice of the 3M guy who installed the film). Compared to the other Prii I see running around mine looks pretty darn good. It was a good $510.00 investment in my opinion.

I did my 2013 outback in the most expensive place in North America - Alberta. To do the entire bumper, 18" of the hood, mirrors and a little on the fenders in the best 3M stuff and by the best local shop (Clear Choice Auto in Edmonton) for just over $400.
Don't let the dealer do it, but shop around and call local shops. The dealer will most likely dend it out and charge you a premium on top of what you would pay @ local shop.
I think it is well worth it. If notthing else, washing those bugs every week will be easier and the paint will last a lot longer. Subie OK dirty, but not all rusted out.

Just my opinion, and everyone has one....
I'd rather look at a chip or two every day, than look at a bra.
Also, I can't see a chip unless I'm up close. I can see a bra from 200 yards.

I bought a used Mazda years back. Came with a Bra. I left it on. Came time to sell the car, and I took the bra off to take a good look at the hood where the bra was. The clear coat was dull everywhere under the bra from microscopic grit being rubbed into the paint. Also, the paint was not the same color under the bra. The bra had to stay on the car, or it looked terrible.

I would in all part if I had a new Outback meaning brand new ,I would get the clear bra package. On my 08 that I just got the front bumper since it was trashed from rock pitting and fogs also, so I had bumper repainted and new fogs, but the hood had some pits in it and the side flares are to much to consider the clear bra. The overall point is to protect the paint but not to have the noticeable look of the 80s with a cloth bra that traps moisture, can rip easily and eventually damage the paint. Clear bra is lifetime warranty and can protect all the points of impact throughout the car. I love mine and in Wa its worth the price and finally got my headlamps and fogs done ,but I do have HID ,not the factory bulbs that have known to burn the clear protectant.
Like I said new car again and clear bra..worth it

It's a San Jose thing, you wouldn't understand...

I got the Clearbra installed before delivery on my 2013 Outback.. it was through a company called Autobahnd which the dealer contracted out to, as far as I can tell they use the 3M material.

I had this product on my previous car and it did an amazing job for the 125K miles I had that car..

I paid $499 for the outback.. they did an amazing job. Hood, all the front bumper surfaces, the mirrors, and even the rear fender flares. Very very hard to see most of the lines. I'm not sure if they did the A-pillars.. I'm not sure I'd care on an outback given it's height. My old car was low to the ground and I did get scratches when rocks hit the hood above the clear bra... but even with that car being low to the ground nothing ever hit the a-pillars. (Now the windshield....)

My wife does not have this on her car.. and it really shows.
