I've noticed if my driver's-side front window is opened just a crack or all the way there is a random clicking sound. It's not continuous but it happens every 3-10 seconds. It's loud enough that I think I'd hear it when the window is closed so I think it has something to do with the window.

Does this happen to anyone else?

I think you got rocks - stuck in tire tread.

This probably isn't it, since you're hearing it when the window is cracked, but.. When I have my windows down more, sometimes I will hear a "clicking" type noise that I finally tracked down to the warning label attached to the seat belt on the passenger side rear that hangs down from the roof of the car..
