The clutch is on its way out. It keeps getting stuck in gears, or is hard to put into gear and the pedal isn't coming back up all the way after pressing it down. Anyone have a ballpark figure on a clutch repair/replacement?
If I were to do it myself I'd have to pull the tranny all the way out right?

Its on a 98 with 2.5. Thanks!

Ya tranny has to come out. Parts can range from $250-400 depending on what grade of a kit you get and if you are going to resurface the flywheel or get a new one. Probably run you $500-800 at a shop.

Yes tranny has to come out. Drop exhaust and pull both axles and propeller shaft. A couple sensors and the shift linkage. It's really not totally painful to do.

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to call a couple of shops on Monday to get an estimate. I figure if labor is 300-400 it would be worth the cost vs doing it myself.
