Finally going to get my third and last gauge working. My coolant temp gauge. I am keeping the stock gauge, but I wanted to know the actual temp. So after deliberating for a couple months, I purchased an inline radiator hose adapter. Goes in the radiator hose (in my case, the upper) and the thermocouple screws into the adapter. It's the only was to do it besides drilling/tapping into the block somewhere.

Wow, very nice piece of work, the inline radiator hose adapter. Got it all hooked up today. Nice to have a real temp reading. Brian

Now, someone make a kit that has these in the right size for every crucial point in the cooling system - upper and lower rad hoses, water pump outlet, heater core inlet - shoot, you could have a dashboard's worth of gauges just for the cooling system.

I guess that's how you'd pick up geek babes.
