CV axle missing parts

Hello, I just realized that after installing a Cardone Remanufactured axle for my 2004 outback, that it was missing the baffle plates on both sides (not included in the re-manufacturing :banghead:). So my question is, is it possible to remove the baffle plates off the old CV and put them on the new one? I managed to get off the one on the differential side, but on the hub side, there is the ABS sprocket in front of the baffle plate. Should this come off with a gear puller or is there some other way to do it without damaging the parts? Does the positioning/orientation of the ABS sprocket matter? Thanks for the help (too bad I did not find the CV axle replacement thread on this forum sooner :()
