My 2006 XT (new to me) has had both of the front axles replaced. The driverside 7,000 ago (prior to my ownership) and the passenger side 1,500 miles ago my me. The local dealer diagnosed a poor quality replacement part, SO I had a Subi reman axle put in.

I am concerned still about their quality.

Does anyone know, should I be able to feel the CV joints bind/roll at all in the AWD system if everything is up to spec.?

If I turn the steering to lock. Then, do a very slow "reverse circle", I can feel the CV's "rolling"and the system. Similar to a solid axle and u-joints. Just not as pronunced. Is this normal because I am in reverse?

ANYONE

ReCall CV Issue

Cancel that reverse thing...I must have caught a patch of ice or something last time. I can't replicate it in a dry parking lot.

SORRY :(
