Hi everyone,
I tried the search prior to posting this, but it turned up nothing. I recently received a letter from subaru of Canada advising that my vehicle is included in a CVT warranty enhancement program. The letter is dated November 2017.
The letter goes on to explain that effective immediately the CVT in my 2015 outback is warrantied up to 10 yrs or 160,000kms.
The confusing part is that subaru claims the extended coverage is not in response to any specific issue with the CVT, but to enhance confidence in their products. It also explains that if you've paid out of pocket for any CVT expenses, you may be eligible for reimbursement.
Is this a letter that many of us outback owners are getting?
I'm interested to know what people's thoughts are regarding the above.
Cheers
