My CEL came on.
I checked the code and it was D0420 - Catalytic Converter ?
It said something about Bank 1 efficiency ?
Should I take the car in ? Is this serious ?

Did you find what the issue was with the cruise control and signals?

There may be a connection here between this problem and your other ones.

Check your battery output. Amps, not voltage. I've had batteries show 12.4 volts and only supplying 75 amps. Check your cables from the battery to block and all the ground cables running to the body and from the harnesses to the block and firewall.

Then check your alternator output with loads.

After that, get into the sensor outputs.

Unfortunately, these are all things that are out of my comfort zone/level of expertise.

I rest the code in order to see if it pops up again, I will likely take it to a local Subaru place to have a free inspection done on it. I can also now smell a faint burning oil smell after driving a short time.

Whats weird is that the dealer told me that he replaced head gasket, timing belt and alternator before I bought it....
