Is the DBW sensor part number the same as the H4?
One guy was saying that most DBW pedals are specific to type of engine or whatever. That seems odd to me as I would think that work would be done in the computers and not in the sensors.

And does anyone know if the sensors themselves are the same between different Suby models but just shaped differently? For example, the Forrester vs the WRX vs the OB. Might they be the same sensors but physically formed differently for the shapes of the floors?

Thank you much!

Compare part numbers by car model etc.

The design of the drive by wire accelerator pedals changed -- in some models in 2005, and in others in 2006. Prior to the change the pedal position sensors were resistance potentiometers, whereas more recently they are Hall effect transducers. The two types are probably not interchangeable.
