Congrats to our November Outback of the Month winner, @volcanogirl73!
I had a hard time choosing between several of my favorite photos of my Outback since I have several good ones from 2021. But this one stood out to me.
This is from WABRD part 1 which is from Carson to Packwood. I went with 15 other vehicles, in which 12 of them were Subarus of various models (Foresters, Ascents, Outbacks, and Crosstreks). It was the one of the first overlanding trips after I completed its build up to this point. Most of the aftermarket parts are from Rallitek, but there is some Rally Innovations, Diode Dynamics, and Rally Armors thrown in. This camping/overlanding trip truly shows that Outbacks can be very capable overlanders. It also helped me learn a few new skills with my driving as well as with camping. I have plans for the vehicle in 2022.
Weekend away at Kalbarri in Western Australia, great little town Which sustained a huge amount of damage from a cyclone earlier in the year. Golf course was still looking great
Simplistic picture..... The first bath it received right after I purchased it. Such a happy feeling seeing the filth come off of it.... And jealous I wasn't the one who put it on.
I have to say that so far, this is my favorite photo of The Doctor! I went out for a day looking for larches and fall colors. I found a whole forest service road lined with them (see 2nd photo).

Just finished up customizing the grill. The green matches the Ironman suspension springs. I've had way too much idle time over the last year and my 2017 outback has either benefited or suffered from this. I've done quite a few subtle modifications that only suby owners might notice. Two of the bigger projects were of the interior, carpeted the lower trim panels of the doors and changed the light gray from the windows up ( headliner, window pillars, etc...) to black Besides the grill in this picture there are a few you can see, I'll just leave it at that
What is that mesh ? Are you concerned about blocking air flow ?
I have done a few interior mods that non-subie folks would not recognize - the big on is I wrapped the fake wood trim with 3M carbon fiber wrap
The day I took my onyx home after a long wait. Drove right into a major Minnesota storm and just as I expected from years of being a subie fanatic..my beast didn't even hesitate in getting me home safel.
It's interesting how the left rear tire has snow around the sidewalls so that it almost resembles a 'whitewall'.... and it looks good against the black cladding & the paint color.
I'd read an article this fall about auto future styling directions, including some concept cars with pseudo-whitewalls.
