Hello all

I am in the Denver (Lakewood) area and in the process of getting an EJ22 back together to reinstall.

Last steps are coming together, just need to get the pulleys and timing belt back on and am good to go!

But for the life of me I can not find my cam tool to hold the cams in place while we tighten down to the bolts. And cant seem to find any local stores that have a Subaru, or universal for that matter, cam tool.

Does anyone local have one I can borrow or buy this morning? I will pick it up and return it today if its a borrow! I have ordered a new one... but with it not arriving for a couple days that kills todays forward progress. And if I can buy one local, being Sunday, have time to cancel my order.

Thanks,

I could not find one in a pinch when I was in need.

I ended up having to use the belt and some vise grips to make my own.

Thanks for the fast replies! Just seems weird its so hard to even find a universal one local.

I know the belt trick for taking one off. But not installing.

The motor is on a stand, both cam pulleys are off and being reinstalled now.... so don't really have much to anchor on.
