Just wondering if these oils ever need to be replaced. According to Subaru maintenance schedules they only ever recommend inspection, and not replacement. Any insight?

i bought my OBW with 60,000mi. I decided to change all the fluids just for the **** of it. When i replaced the rear diff the stuff coming out looked identical to the new synthetic oil i put in. If i had the oppurtunity again i wouldnt have wasted the money on new oil, since it was crystal clear. Plus the drain plug for the rear dif has a magnet to separate the metal partcles from the oil, keeping it even cleaner. (why dont they use these for all drain plugs on the car????)
