It is my 2012 2.5 limited. I recently found that when the engine reaches at exactly 2k rpm, there is some noise from the driver side door.

But over or under 2k rpm is perfect fine.

I am suspecting it is resonance but I cannot locate the exact location and get rid of it. When the car is static, I tried to put the gear into neutral and make it reach 2k rpm, the noise is still there. When I open the door, the noise is gone.

Anyone experienced similar or have any idea?

If you can repeat it and are still under warranty than take it to the dealer and have it fixed. The repeatable problems are always the easiest to get a dealer to fix.

try doing it in neutral, if it still does it, then thats the easiest way to show them, they probly even have tools that can electronically step it up a few rpm at a time to check
