Hi all I have a 2014 Outback 2.5 and I want to upgrade to LED high beams. Problem is the LEDs are on all of the time, they don't seem to be at a lower brightness during the daytime for daytime running lamps. Is there any way to disable the DRL on this car?
I tried searching the form but I haven't found anything on the 2014. Thank you very much in advance for any help that you can give.

I found the fix on YouTube that works with the 2014 Outback.. however I did not cut the tab on the relay and merely covered it with electrical tape. This way I can return it to its normal state if I sell the car. Now my LED high beams work and no daytime running lamps. Thanks to everyone who read this article.

Easy, just modify the relay

Edit: Looks like you beat me to it by a few seconds. Glad you were able to figure it out!

Thanks😁. Now I'd like to figure out if that wire is hot or neutral so that I can run another set of Lights Off of it.
