Does anyone have any idea what might be causing the oil leak shown in the attached pictures? This engine is a solid lifter EJ22 that has about 125k miles on it, I swapped it into my car about 25k miles ago and it wasn't leaking there, but I just pulled it out again because its starting to dump too much oil onto the exhaust and smells like burning oil all the time. It looks like either its leaking out around the head bolt or from the seam between the head and the part where the cam position sensor is attached to, there is no oil at all under the timing belt cover and I don't see any oil seeping from the head gaskets or anywhere else.

I bet it's the o-ring in between the head and the cam seal/sensor carrier, those get brittle and break. You might as well do the cam seal while you're in there, too.
