Well, this is interesting, according to Endwrench, the compression ratio of the EJ25 H4 is 9.7:1, for both the Phase 1 DOHC and Phase 2 SOHC engine.

Here in Australia, the listed comp. ratio is 10:1 for the Phase 2....the differences between markets is intriguing ! :)

Losiho, my MY02 OBS with a 2.5 is listed as 10:1 also. What gives? Why the discrepency I wonder. Brian

I'm not sure, maybe it's a misprint from Endwrench ?

Maybe the 2,5l engines build in Japan and the US have differences as the cars build in the twoplants have, too.
Afaik the Australian Cars are build in Japan (as well as the European Ones).
I will have to find out about the ratios in Germany...

My OBS was built in Japan, no plant here in the US builds 'em. Brian

Oh, i thought for a moment you where talking about an OB-Sedan instead you where talking about an OB-Sport.
