I have a 2003 LL Bean H6 which idles low @ 400.....BUT when radiator fan " kicks on" it goes to near 700 rpm...which I believe is normal.

But it runs ( idles rough)..like its struggling to breathe....sounds crazy. only when rad fan kicks in. usually at a red light...

Any ideas ?

Any MIL lights on? When was the last time you cleaned or replaced the PCV valve?
