Story is, I have a 2011 Limited Outback and it does have the factory remote start. The reason I mention that is this morning, it wouldn't start via the remote. It was doing the multiple attempts, and honking the horn thing. Also, a few lights were on or blinking on the dashboard.
Indicator Lights:
Check Engine Light: ON
Traction Light: ON
E-Break Light: FLASHING
Cruise Control Light: FLASHING
The cold engine light was on but that went off when the engine warmed up so don't pay attention to that in the photo.
So basically, the car wouldn't remote start, cruise control wouldn't work, E-Brake does work but the light flashes while driving.
Anyone else have issues such as these with their 4th Gen Outback? This is a first for me having any issues. I have 28K miles on her now. This is the first time having a check engine light appear. Also, it continued to have the issue even after restarting the car, turning it off, and so on. It's Sunday so can't bring the car in to a dealership, so went to the forum...
