My three year old 2010 Outback Limited 3.6R has been wonderful for about 68K miles. Unfortunately just yesterday my tire pressure warning lamp came on. I checked my tire pressure all around and found it to be withing spec. What's up with that?

Then today my low beam headlights stopped working. High beams still work so I could drive home (pissing off all oncoming traffic). Both lows stopped working simultaneously. The dash board lights also stopped illuminating (radio and climate controls). My instrument lights still function, thankfully.

So, what's going on? My old Audi TT had plenty of electrical issues as can be expected, but I never thought my Subi would also have such problems.

Any thoughts?

Don't you have fog lights on the 3.6? It sounds like a connector somewhere came loose, which is weird. If you're still on warranty take it in. If not check fuses and then check to see what else is not working (full list) and report back. Do the DLR's work? Blinkers? Full list of non-functioning stuff. We might be able to track down the connector (if that is the issue) to narrow down the problem.

If it were me I'd bust out the OHM meter and start checking wires to track it down.

Both headlights low beams failing to work will almost always be a relay since you have one for low beam and one for high beam.
TPMS, is the TPMS operated by tire rotation of sensor in the tire itself? If it is rotation it is possible you have some crap that has build up on the sensor (sensor is typically the wheel tooth type that reads wheel rotation outside the tire itself). If it is the sensor it could be failing since they are li-ion batteries that are supposed to last 8 years.

Pretty weird to see all things happen so close together. Certainly could be an electrical issue messing this up. I think a trip to the dealer is warranted if for nothing else to see if this is something that has happened before...
