Recently bought a 2006 Subaru outback 2.5i I've heard about an engine they call EJ253. said it is a free wheeling engine where piston and valves do not touch. How can i tell if my vehicle has this engine or not..thank you all

it's an interference engine.

take care of your timing belt and associated parts.
