Hey all.

So my 99 got the famous rear cat flange rot. I did a bit of a hack job but there is still a small leak. While I was working on this I couldn't help but notice how small and restrictive this exhaust is. I can't seem to find any aftermarket exhaust for the car (didn't expect to really). Will a performance exhaust from other years work on this car with some modification? I can get a stock exhaust from the header back for about $600 including the cats but would really like something that flows a little better. Poor car problably feels like it's trying to inflate a balloon with a drinking straw.

Your best bet would probably see if an exhaust shop could fabricate something together for you. Will likely be at or under the cost of new parts. Very little aftermarket exhaust for the Outback line.
