I have a 2005 Outback XT, when I bought the vehicle the drivers side muffler was missing, upon further inspection the flange was the portion that cracked off. I’m attempting to get back to a stock sounding exhaust but can’t find any options besides ridiculous priced intermed pipes plus mufflers. I was wondering what the difference in exhaust was between the 2.5i and the XT. All the exhaust I find say non-turbo. Will at N/A exhaust bolt to my down pipe or not. I appreciate any responses.

TL:DR
Will the exhaust, intermed pipe back, from a 2005 Outback 2.5i N/A, bolt directly to the down pipe of a 2005 Outback XT.

you might find some used XT or LGT OEM exhaust. from people that are swapping to aftermarkets.

edit @traildogck do you got anything hanging around for possible sale ?

Don't know where you are, but in Denver OBXT catbacks are plentiful at the yards. From an LGT, I believe the mid/Y pipe will work, but the mufflers definitely will not.
