I have an exhaust leak at the flange on the front muffler/resonator. At least I think thats what it is. I've searched, but have come up empty. Please educate me on the H6 exhaust system. My understanding is, from engine back

1. exhaust manifold, one downpipe on either side with built in cat converter,
2. then a two into one muffler,
3. single pipe with resonator
4. rear muffler

My leak is at the rear flange of the two into one muffler, or is that a catalytic converter?

I found this pic on the net. The bottom system is the stock H6 cat. It appears that the part on the far right is also a cat. I have a leak at the rear flange and was wondering if it was a cat or a muffler/resonator.

Header to the cat, flange is like $20 bucks, pick up a UEL header and high flow cat when you're at it. You'll thank me later
