If you had to pick your favorite OEM-Subaru wheels to go onto your Gen2 Outback, which would you pick? I've been eyeing up a set of 02-03 or so Impreza/WRX 16" wheels. I think they would make my wagon look so much better than the grandma-esqe wheels currently installed.

I think those wrx rims of 2003 are still 5x100, (STI rims were the odd ball 5x114.3 around then)

as per
https://www.wheel-size.com/size/subaru/impreza-wrx/2003/

but any 17" rim sucks for snow tires on a 2000-2004.

17" tires are more expensive, and you don't have the bigger sidewall like on a 16" tire to protect said rim from a feb/ march pot hole.

______

If I had my choice this minute. a 2000-2004 H4 limited rim,.....

some however say generic base steelies are great as with a fresh coat of paint / wax, they repelll the slush better the aluminum ones.
(and are cheap and easy to find if you dent one).

_____

my current ones for both cars for winter are actually H6 2001-2003 type,...one set I refinished with dark rustoleum hammered gold. here are how they look

they're only 17s, should be fine

you no likey? I like the gear-look, makes it more angry looking and less sterile/executive.
looks like you put one of these weed wacker blades on as wheel cover....but everyone is entitled to a opinon,...its their car until they resell it, wreck it completely, or pass away before it.
