I've got a 2006 Outback L.L. Bean edition automatic trans. and when sitting in the driver seat if I tap my left heel with some force I can feel the whole car shake when at a stop. wondering if i should check my shock absorbers out or just replace them entirely? Thanks for any help!

They likely need them anyway, but not for the heel kicking. That's kinda weird.

um....I dunno if what you're experiencing would be solved or reduced, but it's almost a guarantee that a 14 year-old car needs new struts.

include new strut mounts, and have the rear bushing on the lower control arms closely inspected too.
