We finally got a decent amount of snow today so I could test out the outback I bought a couple months ago, but there was so much traffic that I could have been on a new pair of hiking boots and gone faster. :28:
I got a good taste of snow driving last April on a trip home from Klamath Falls, Oregon. It was a major snow storm, and I was in it for close to 150 miles. The Subaru was rock solid. When I made it off the State Route to the interstate, I was out in 6-8 inches of virgin snow in the fast lane. The car handled like it was on rails. It was awesome! All the big rigs and other cars were in the slush and spray in the right lane.
Folks in snow country probably are laughing at me, but I am a flatlander in Ca, and don't see snow often. I thought it was pretty cool!
