I am flat hauling a brand new (less than 300 miles) 2018 outback over 2,000 miles. I am towing it on a flatbed 20' trailer, behind a large diesel pickup I've found the tie-downs in the front, just inside the front wheels. For the life of me, I can't figure out where to attache the rear tie-downs. It looks like the rear suspension is the intended point, but there's a lot a delicate stuff down there, and I don't want to start ratchet strapping something that will snap or bend. The owner's manual was entirely helpful with "use a professional". I'm planning on using two straps per corner, and I've towed plenty of vehicles before. I just can't figure out where to tie down the rear. Opinions??
