I just bought a 2013 with 23k miles. Base model, so no fog lights. I tried searching... I think these are pre-wired and I will like to install fog lights. The salesman said there is a kit from Subaru but also suggested looking at aftermarket LED fog light kits.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
What else did you do to your gen4 base model that you were glad you did?

My understanding is that factory fogs have the switch on the lighting stalk with/ for the headlights. Models that came without would receive a switch installed near the interior lighting dimmer. May just be 10-12 but probably all gen4

the wiring for the FOGs should already be there for you, all you need is the fog light switch, bezels and relay.

bezels 57731AG94A 57731AG93A
relay 82501AG05B
Switch (replaces your mirror switch) H4510AJ000

You are correct. I have a 2013 base Outback when I ordered mine it came with the switch near the dimmer.

Are there alternatives such as putting little led bars up front that are plug and play?
