I don't have and clunking, and I don't notice any obvious symptoms, BUT...

2005 XT

I noticed the bushings on the front sway bar are split, and I have the normal tearing of the LCA bushing.

I was wondering if I should actually fix it or just let it slide. I wonder if fixing it will improve the body roll that I currently experience.

What are the replacement options for those swaybar bushings? I see a few options for the LCA, but haven't seen anything for those.

THanks for any suggestions! I've always kinda just replace what needed to be replaced before because of loud and obvious problems, but trying to keep this, our first 'new' car, reasonably nice.

Can't help with the swaybar bushings, I replaced the bar, links & bushings with rallitek last year.

I have the whiteline LCA bushings. Not cheap, took forever to show up. Slight increase in cabin noise, huge increase in steerability during hard braking. No goofy splitting apart.

If your talking about the sway bar to body bushes they are supposed to have a split in them to allow them to wrap around the sway bar.
