Greets,
I'm the original owner of a 2002 Outback wagon. Great car, and it has served me very well. A few days ago I noticed the front windshield washers quit, but I still had fluid, and the one in the rear worked fine. I took a look today, and I found that the hose that feeds the nozzles appears to have come off (still delivers fluid, so the pump is OK) The only problem is that I don't see where to reattach it! I assumed it would run through the firewall, but it looks like it is being routed in the opposite direction (towards the manifold, see pics below) I don't know if I am missing a fitting, or just missing the obvious! Thanks in advance (looks like a nice forum you have here!)
Cheers,
Ron in Indy

the 2 pumps are located on the front of the fluid reservoir so, look under your hand in the first picture.

That's attached to the hood.
Thanks!
I'm not usually this dense.:17:
I totally convinced myself that it had to be routed through the firewall without even looking to see where the spray nozzles were mounted!
The good thing is that I found this forum. I like to work on all my cars,
and this looks like a great resource.
